Cee’s Odd Ball Challenge
Balls I Recall
The height of ability consists in a thorough knowledge of the real value of things, and of the genius of the age in which we live. Kin Hubbard
A part of my childhood years until my growing days is a Christmas at the corner of the stairway. Dad makes it a sure to have built it right after his birthday the 22nd of September. ย Yes, our Christmas is standing tall for the entire 4 months and kept before the Chinese new year kicks off. We really had the longest Yuletide season to celebrate as what tradition goes practice over the years. What amazes is when dad himself wanted to arrange the Christmas tree. He had a yearly change of motif and colors but doesn’t wish to replace the balls we had so many years back. The Christmas tree we had been 18years old not to mentioned the Christmas balls that were older than the tree. Dad has said we have the timeworn Christmas before and is a 13-year-old. It has been heavily damaged by typhoon so it is replaced. Dad has tried to fix it, but some of the other parts no are to be found. I come to think that it is not replaced by then it was older than me.
These are a few of the ย vintage items in the house as dad always keep it for good sake until it gets old. Here are some photos I kept something to remind me of home so I won’t be missing them since I can’t make it with on this coming holidays.

I can’t say I’ve heard of other people having a tree up from the end of September but I like tradition your family has created. ๐

That still seems quite early to me. I suppose my tree has been up two weeks. ๐ ๐
